update for Hattie and Josh:
Hattie and Josh have now been examined !!!!  Hattie is about 8-9 y/o, has a facial nerve paralysis, dry eye and an ear infection but is otherwise pretty healthy and a decent body weight. She will need a dental for dental disease. Her temperament is great and gets along with other dogs very well.  Josh is as we originally thought - a very old poodle :-(.  He likes other dogs, cats and kids are unknown. He is looking for someone who would like to give him a wonderful home for however long he has - which could be a while as he's pretty healthy except for his estimated age of 13-16 years!!  If you're willing to open your heart and your home to him, please contact Barb at 614-5541300 for more information

Hello - My Name's Trudy

Age: 5 years old
Sex: Female
Size: 21-25 Pounds
Breed: cocker spaniel
CCRID#: 1513

Just the Facts
10/2/12: Trudy is new to rescue, arriving on transport from a rural Ohio county shelter. She seems like a nice girl. Trudy is fairly healthy except for some mild hip/leg arthritis which is being treated with a daily antiinflammatory. This doesn't seem to slow her down at all. She's a little "leaner" - loves to lean against your leg. For more information, call 614-554-1300 or 614-554-7755. Update from foster 2/9/13: Trudy does like to control her toys and humans so she will need consistent guidance on correcting this behavior. She also appears to be a very smart little girl, learning tricks very quickly. Like most cockers, she wants to please her human so will do most anything if given the right treat motivation. While she does seem to like most dogs, she has shown some domainance and an adopter will want to continue to work at keeping her socialized with other dogs. Her hip issues do not seem to be causing her any additional discomfort. She continues to walk and move around without obvious problems. Call if you'd like more information on her. 4/4/13-home trial with Bridgham family.
