We are faced with a number of challenges in these times. In order to keep our volunteers safe and healthy and to comply with the Governor's executive orders and the recommendations of the CDC, we are implementing the following temporary procedures:

We are still accepting applications and doing the basic processing with the exception of physical home inspections. We will be asking for pictures, FaceTime or videos of homes. Most of our dogs cannot be spayed/neutered during this time. There will be no meet & greets until it is deemed safe and no dogs will be released for adoption at this time.

We cannot take in dogs during this time unless there is no other option available. We are aware of dogs in shelters but many shelters have closed their intake department with no way to pull a dog.

We appreciate your understanding as we travel through these difficult times.

Hello - My Name's Emma

Age: 10-12 yrs
Sex: Female
Size: 21-25 Pounds
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
CCRID#: 2009
Just the Facts

5/21/19 moved to PF status

4/25/19 Emma is a lovely senior estimated to be 10ish..... who loves a lap and will follow you everywhere!! She's good with cats and dogs but kids are unknown - probably those that are respectful of her diminished vision and hearing would be fine. Emma is a sad case with multiple medical issues - glaucoma of the right eye controlled somewhat with medications, a slight bladder control issue managed with propagest/Proin, and a swallowing problem where she needs "very mushy" to liquified food. She is able to eat small pieces of people food if not too large and she's able to chew it. Drinking water isn't a problem at all. We would like to find a special person who has patience and lots of love to shower on her - in return, she will be your best friend furever !!!!! Feel free to call Barb at 614-554-1300 if you have other questions./B 1/11/19 Came into rescue as a stray from Indiana. Lenora pulled and her mother transported to us on 2/8/19.
