SPECIAL NOTICE

We are faced with a number of challenges in these times. In order to keep our volunteers safe and healthy and to comply with the Governor's executive orders and the recommendations of the CDC, we are implementing the following temporary procedures:

We are still accepting applications and doing the basic processing with the exception of physical home inspections. We will be asking for pictures, FaceTime or videos of homes. Most of our dogs cannot be spayed/neutered during this time. There will be no meet & greets until it is deemed safe and no dogs will be released for adoption at this time.

We cannot take in dogs during this time unless there is no other option available. We are aware of dogs in shelters but many shelters have closed their intake department with no way to pull a dog.

We appreciate your understanding as we travel through these difficult times.

Hello - My Name's Dexter

Age: 8 YO
Sex: Male
Size: 31-35 Pounds
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
CCRID#: 2054

Just the Facts
1/4/2020 - We have decided to split Dexter & Nate apart to see how they do.
12/20/19 Well the boys are back in boarding until we get s foster willing to take them both. Their trial didn’t work out - adopters felt their sibling rivalry was too much for them. They do play rough and Dexter is the more dominant. The behavior is common for siblings.... we would still like to keep them together. Please call Barb to discuss, 614-554-1300.
11/12/19 The boys seem to like other dogs and do well meeting most people. Dexter is more anxious when away from Nate although Nate seems to be okay without Dexter...... both had ear infections which are being treated and other than that, are healthy. We would still love to adopt them together. Please contact us if more information is needed and we will try to answer any other questions./barb
10/30/19 The boys seem very friendly and want to meet others readily. They will be further assessed once they’ve adjusted to life away from their previous home. We will be adopting them together - hopefully!
10/29/19 These 2 are a bonded pair, 8 YO neutered males. Their owner died and the family didn't want to keep them. More information later.
